Our Private Business Group provides a broad spectrum of legal services to privately owned businesses engaged in a wide variety of activities, including manufacturing, real estate management and development, insurance brokerage companies, restaurants, as well as businesses rendering both professional and non-professional services. 

Our services include preparation of agreements among the equity owners and the formation and organization of business entities, such as corporations, partnerships and limited liability companies.  At the organizational stage, we participate in the initial tax planning and capital structuring of the organization.  Our Private Business Group also has expertise in business acquisitions and sales.

Working with the equity owners, we design and draft plans for management and ownership continuity.  In the area of ownership succession, particular emphasis is placed upon the interplay between bona fide business issues and family and estate planning.

The Private Business Group prepares various forms of employment, consulting, compensation and incentive agreements specifically tailored to the needs of each particular entity.
